- All dayInvent for the Planet - Part INote: Registration is open January 23-28. Register at tx.ag/IFTP25 During Invent for the Planet (https://engineering.tamu.edu/student-life/aggies-invent/events/invent-for-the-planet/index.html) (IFTP), we tackle some of the world's biggest challenges, such as environmental affairs, energy solutions, improving developing nations and resource equity. Each participating university organizes a local Invent for the Planet weekend which follows our Aggies Invent (https://engineering.tamu.edu/student-life/aggies-invent/index.html) format — teams are formed based on similar interests in a need statement. The teams research the topic, build a simple prototype, and on the final day, put together a video and present their solutions to a panel of judges. Three teams from each local event are selected for first, second and third place prizes, with the opportunity to go onto the second round and compete for the world title.Interested in joining?
