- 5:45 PM2h 45mGraduate & Professional Student Wine TastingGraduate and Professional Student Wine Tasting, sponsored by The Association of Former Students, Student Life, the Office of Graduate and Professional Studies is an annual event held in February at the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center in Flores Hall. Each year the event welcomes 250 graduate and professional students and provides them with the opportunity to learn about wine selection, taste the flavors of a highlighted vineyard, and socialize with other grads. Registration will open on January 21 to grad and professional students currently enrolled in levels G6, G7, G8 , M1-M4, or V1-V4. To RSVP email garyl@studentlife@tamu.edu. - All dayChillenniumThis event is known as the world's largest student-run game jam. Students from universities across the country will create video games from the ground up over a 48-hour period. Students can also interact with industry professionals who will be on hand to serve as mentors.
- All dayInvent for the Planet - Part IInvent for the Planet (IFTP) 2025 will tackle some of the world's biggest challenges such as environmental affairs, energy solutions and resource equity. Participate alongside universities worldwide as you dive into researching your chosen need statement, build a prototype, and on the final day, present to a panel of judges. Three teams from each local event are selected as winners with the opportunity to go on to compete for the world title! Registration is now closed.
