Pick Your Party Smart Persona is a quick, interactive pop-up where students answer a few fun scenario prompts and discover their party-smart style. Whether they are the Group Chat Guardian, Hydration Hero, Exit Plan Expert, Vibe Check Captain, or Norms Corrector, students will walk away with simple ways to look out for themselves and their friends.

Join Grad School Dean Dr. Fuhui Tong for a candid talk on turning setbacks into success. She will share her own stories of rejection and failure, the mindset that helped her push through, and what first drew her to graduate school. Come for real talk on resilience, growth and building a rewarding career. Aggie Core Value: Leadership.  This virtual session is part of the Grad School's fall 2026 Grad School 101 "Exploration Series." 

Beginners with little to no experience are invited to sign up for an introduction to our Husqvarna Viking sewing machines available to use in The Maker Zone. You'll get to know the parts of the machine, learn what all the different knobs are for, get it set up for a sewing session, practice sewing different patterns to get a feel for how to drive it, go over some basic troubleshooting strategies, and then put your new knowledge to work making a small tote or crossbody bag to take home. All materials provided.If you are more than 5 minutes late for the class, you may lose your seat.
