- Oct 256:15 PM'Kwaidan'The Performance and Visual Studies program presents "Kwaidan" (1964), the epic Japanese horror anthology by celebrated director Masaki Kobayashi. It's just in time for Halloween: Friday, Oct. 25 at 6:15 p.m. in the Geren Auditorium (Langford B 101). This film, the most expensive feature ever produced in Japan at the time of its release, was shot in widescreen and color and is considered an amazing big screen experience. Comprised of four separate tales of the supernatural, "Kwaidan" will have a 15-minute intermission between the second and third segments at which refreshments will be offered in the adjacent lobby.
