Brownies and Bracelets is an event organized by the Aggie Peer Connect program to offer students a time and space to connect with fellow students while participating in a fun, relaxed activity. Come meet the cohort of Aggie Peer Advocates, trained students who serve as peer mentors and are dedicated to creating a welcoming and respectful environment where every student feels heard, valued and empowered. Aggie Peer Connect builds community by fostering meaningful peer-to-peer connections and providing students with the resources and referrals they need to thrive. Rooted in the 12th Man traditions, the program uses a prevention-focused approach to bring students together, offering compassionate listening and support to safeguard well-being and strengthen community across Texas A&M University.

CATTLELAND: a festival for culture and agri-culture concludes a series of residencies by guest artist Chris Kallmyer at Texas A&M that have integrated the agricultural sciences, environmental studies. Since September, CATTLELAND has fostered a conversation about the significance of grazing lands through forums, discussions, rigorous inquiry, speculative proposals, and the construction of cow bells. Join us for the culmination of CATTLELAND in workshops, demonstrations, performances, exhibitions, and more conversations about the future of our relationship to cattle and the lands they occupy.Bovine Boogie: Moooooving through Human-Animal Relationsis an open, embodied workshop exploring cattle movement facilitated by professionals from Dance Science, Performance and Visual Studies, and Animal Sciences. This 2-part workshop is for everyone, join us in thinking human-animal relations through movement. Join us one or both days, April 8 in Rudder Auditorium, April 10 at the Louis Pearce Pavillion.The event is free. 

Counselor Connect offers Texas A&M University students an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the counseling process and resources within University Health Services. Students can pick from various activities to participate in while interacting with counselors, creating an informal and laid-back environment. During these 15-minute sessions, students will learn strategies for self-care that can improve any area in their lives! Counselor Connect aims to reduce the stigma around mental health and create a safe space on campus for connection. Although this is NOT an individual counseling session, this is an opportunity to engage with a mental health professional and discuss strategies for self-care in order to give you the tools to achieve your academic goals. By attending the Counselor Connect event, students acknowledge that University Health Services cannot guarantee the confidentiality of the conversations that occur during each event.

Stay Safe While Eating Well This lesson explores the protein food group, including supplements and performance nutrition. Students will learn the importance of safe food handling practices to avoid foodborne illness. Students can also discover how to use kitchen gadgets like slow cookers and air fryers to make cooking easier!
