- DescriptionThis workshop is designed to help participants begin to understand the concept of worthiness. We will explore this by looking at the areas of self-esteem, self-compassion and perfectionism.

Students can pick from various activities to participate in while interacting with counselors, creating an informal and laid-back environment. During these 15-minute sessions, students learn strategies for self-care that can improve any area in their lives! Counselor Connect aims to reduce the stigma around mental health and create a safe space on campus for connection. Although this is NOT an individual counseling session, it is an opportunity to engage with a mental health professional and discuss strategies for self-care to give students the tools to achieve their academic goals. By attending a Counselor Connect event, students acknowledge that University Health Services cannot guarantee the confidentiality of the conversations that occur during each event.

Students will learn to recognize the impact of the imposter phenomenon on their well-being and learn strategies to manage and succeed through feelings of imposterism.

Learn to recognize warning signs, understand risk and protective factors, and take actionable steps to support early intervention prevent suicide. Participants will gain knowledge and confidence to help reduce stigma and make a positive impact in their community.
- Nov 410:00 AMWellness Wherever You Are: Self-Worth"Cultivating Self-Worth" is a one-hour presentation designed to help participants recognize, build and nurture their self-worth. Learn what self-worth means, bust common myths and identify signs of low and growing self-worth. Through activities and discussion—including practicing positive self-talk—participants will leave with practical skills and renewed confidence.
- Nov 510:00 AMWellness Wherever You Are: Personal Injury & First AidGain the skills needed to address common personal injuries and administer basic first aid. Through the Personal Injury & First Aid session, participants will build confidence in their ability to recognize common injuries on campus, deliver fundamental first aid, respond appropriately in emergencies and identify situations requiring professional medical care.
