We will explore using LinkedIn as a powerful resource to connect with professionals, groups, and companies and capture recruiters' interest. Attending this event and completing the reflection is worth 1 PDU towards a GRAD Aggies Professional Development Certificate for graduate & professional students.

The Career Center, in partnership with GRAD Aggies, presents Graduate Consulting Career Series 2: Job Searching, Networking, and Resumes. The second session focuses on finding a consulting job. Students will be equipped with search and networking tools and know how to craft a resume and cover letter to get into the interview stage at a consultancy. Participants will learn How consulting recruiting works and how to leverage that to students' advantage; effectively networking with consultants, particularly at firms that have yet to identify TAMU as a target school; crafting a resume that is quantitative and uses Harvard Business School (HBS) format; writing a cover letter that gets noticed by consultancies. Attending this event and completing the reflection is worth 1 PDU towards a G.R.A.D. Aggies Professional Development Certificate for graduate & professional students.
