- Oct 231:30 PMGrocery Store ToursEver wish you had a guide at the grocery store? Now you do. University Health Services Grocery Store Tours are back, and this month's theme is "Immune-Boosting." These in-store tours are led by a campus health educator and are designed to help students learn which foods help strengthen their immune system. Each tour includes a guided walk-through of key grocery sections with a focus on learning how to spot nutrients that support immunity and practical tips for affordable, everyday choices. After the tour, participants will complete a fun scavenger hunt through the store and wrap up with a 20–30-minute cooking demonstration and sampling session provided by H-E-B Cooking Connections. Space is limited! Students are responsible for their own transportation and should plan to arrive 15 minutes early. The tour starts at the front entrance by the produce section. The tour is free to attend. However, if you register and fail to attend without notifying uhsprevpop@tamu.edu (mailto:uhsprevpop@tamu.edu) at least 24 hours in advance, a $25 no-show fee will be charged to your student account.
