They will gain hands-on experience with essential HR and payroll systems, learn critical compliance and procedural requirements, and practice key supervisory tasks that are necessary for success. Additionally, participants will explore available support resources, identify where to of for assistance, and understand their development as supervisors. There is a lot at stake, and it is important that you understand all of your options, as well as the laws and regulations governing the distribution of your benefits once you leave Texas A&M University. Make plans to attend one of our group workshops for pre-retirement counseling. These workshops are not one-on-one sessions, but you will have the opportunity to ask questions. As a participant, you will receive information as to what forms you will need to complete to get you started and to better understand your retirement benefits. Taking a few minutes to get your flu shot can help slow the spread of illness, reduce flu-related absences from class and work and help keep our campus community healthy throughout flu season. Pop-up and mobile clinics bring flu shots closer to where faculty, staff and students work and study. No-cost and low-cost options help reduce financial barriers to vaccination.
