- Nov 205:45 PMInto the Unknown … Perspectives from Pioneers!A dedicated team of faculty, staff, and students carried the spirit of Aggieland across the Drake passage to conduct independent research in one of Earth's most thrilling locations. This Q+A style panel will allow audiences to hear about what it took to traverse these polar regions and create educational experiences that last a lifetime. In addition to students presenting insight from their travels, faculty will share how their own research areas and expertise will lend themselves to the next great Aggie adventure: a summer spent across Greenland and Iceland. This upcoming Arctic expedition has been carefully curated to provide Texas A&M students with unparalleled experiential learning opportunities and the ability to take part in impactful research. As a part of this multidisciplinary trip, students will have the ability to pursue their learning beyond the borders of a classroom and become a part of A&M history as the first ever study abroad trip to Greenland and Iceland.Contact: Madeline Sweany (mad.sweany@tamu.edu)
