Coffee with a Counselor provides a unique opportunity for students at Texas A&M University to ask questions and learn more about the counseling process and resources such as University Health Services. It allows a positive interaction between students and counselors in a relaxed and informal environment, while increasing students' knowledge of their overall wellness. Although this is NOT an individual counseling session, this is an opportunity to engage with a mental health professional and discuss strategies for self-care in order to give you the tools to achieve your academic goals! Panelists will address the historic establishment of international alliances in the 20th century, examining how these frameworks have evolved; contemporary examples of threats to culture and 21st century responses; and strategies for integrating cultural preservation into future peacekeeping efforts.  This symposium will be followed by an art exhibit of works developed during the Bosnian war and on display in the MSC Reynolds Student Art Gallery during the spring semester.
