- Feb 39:00 AMContours and Chaos: Studies in Form, Color, and MovementExhibition on Display: Jan. 14–March 8, 2026Gallery HoursTues.–Fri. 9 a.m.–8 p.m.; Sat.–Sun. Noon–6 p.m; Closed Mon.Contours and Chaos: Studies in Form, Color, and Movement explores abstract and non-representational works from the J. Wayne Stark Collection, highlighting artists' sustained engagement with the expressive possibilities of visual form. Since the mid-twentieth century, abstraction has served as a vital mode of artistic inquiry, offering new ways to challenge perception and expand how we understand the world. Rather than representing recognizable subjects, the works in this exhibition foreground line, shape, color, value, texture, and space as primary content. Through dynamic compositions and deliberate experimentation, artists investigate movement, emotion, and structure, inviting viewers to encounter art as an experience of visual rhythm and formal exploration rather than depiction.
- Feb 39:00 AMI Hope I Make You Proud – Jeremy Biggers: A RetrospectiveExhibition on Display: Jan. 30–May 2, 2026Gallery HoursTues.–Fri. 9 a.m.–8 p.m.; Sat.–Sun. Noon–6 p.m; Closed Mon. Tracing his journey from his formative years at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts to national exhibitions and high-profile collaborations with brands such as Nike, IBM, and the NBA, Biggers has an ability to move seamlessly between canvas, wall, and camera. Drawing deeply from personal experience, Biggers employs a bold visual language—anchored by his signature "hyper-red"—to express aspiration, resist complacency, and invite reflection. This retrospective reveals an artist committed not only to pushing creative boundaries but also to fostering meaningful dialogue, encouraging viewers to consider their own identities, and exploring how art can inspire connection, growth, and pride. This exhibition spans more than 10 years of Biggers' work in drawing and painting.
