Early Release: Friday, April 3 at Noon
With authorization from Chancellor Glenn Hegar, Interim President Tommy Williams has authorized the early release of employees at noon on Friday, April 3, in observance of Good Friday. Branch campuses and teaching sites may have alternate holiday schedules (https://ecomms.marcomm.tamu.edu/trk/click?ref=z177i6rteh_0-2146_0_0x310edx04hOhq69UIU) and should consult with their respective leadership or supervisor for related information. Employees performing essential facilities, health, safety and/or security-related functions will be required to report as normally expected. Employees supporting or participating in clinical operations or those unsure of reporting status should confirm with their supervisor prior to the early release date. Sick/vacation leave time previously authorized will be reinstated. Transit break service will also end early Friday, April 3. Last leave times from campus for each bus route will be approximately 1 p.m. There will be no bus service Saturday, April 4, or Sunday, April 5. Libraries will close at noon Friday, April 3 (Bryan-College Station and Galveston campuses) for the early release.
