Talk Saves Lives is an educational presentation developed by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention that provides an overview of suicide prevention. It increases awareness by covering warning signs, risk and protective factors, and actionable steps to help prevent suicide. Emphasizing early intervention, support and stigma reduction, this presentation equips individuals with the knowledge and confidence to take proactive measures in their communities. Released in 2025, the film follows the Social Media Victims Law Center fighting for justice for families whose children suffered tragic consequences linked to social media use. As families seek justice, "Can't Look Away: underscores the urgent need for industry reform and serves as both a wake-up call about the dangers of social media and a call to action to protect future generations. This film explores difficult subject matter that some viewers may find distressing. Viewer discretion is advised. Film is not appropriate for young audiences. University students, parents, legislators, leaders, youth and family-facing professionals are welcome. There will be free refreshments and snacks, and a panel will be held after the film showing.
