- Jun 239:00 AMCrucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue (Day 1)When results aren't meeting expectations, often a crucial conversation was missed or wasn't managed effectively. Individual and organizational success is driven by how quickly, directly and skillfully we speak up when it matters most. Yet we frequently avoid crucial conversations because we fear making the situation worse. Unfortunately, poorly handled dialogue can lead to ongoing challenges within teams, organizations and relationships. At the core of healthy, high-performing organizations are individuals who are willing and able to hold meaningful conversations, even when stakes are high. Supported by 30 years of social science research, "crucial conversation" skills are the recognized standard in effective communication and leadership. This course will teach you how to engage in those difficult or high-stakes crucial conversations.
