Lott Named to SEC Community Service Team
BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M softball outfielder Paige Lott has been named to the SEC Community Service Team, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.
Lott is an active member of SAAC where she participated in Aggies CAN, which is the nation's largest student-athlete canned food drive. The senior helped gather cans and monetary donations that provided over 60,000 meals across the Brazos Valley.
The Dayton, Texas, native, also served in the REVved up to read program. Lott committed her mornings to reading books to local elementary students. She has also donated countless of hours at local food banks and assisted with local women's clothing drives.
Prior to the season, Lott was named the team's 12th Man after her teammates unanimously selected her for the honor. Day in and day out, Lott exemplifies the six core values of every Aggie: Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Loyalty, Respect and Selfless Service.
